The ASD District Advisory Committee (DAC) provides valuable input related to several aspects of District operations. DAC meetings are scheduled to follow our LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) development process/timeline. The LCAP development process uses community input and analysis of school performance data to set district priorities and target improved success for all students. The DAC also provides valuable input related to the District's wellness policy and other topics that come up over the course of the year.

We have recruited for District Advisory Committee involvement at AES and SBMS Back to School Nights, AES and SBMS School Site Council meetings, the first Community Schools meeting of the year, and via the all staff/all family email invitation below (sent on 9/17/24). We have made one change to our scheduled meetings for the year - moving our first meeting from 11/20 to 12/11 so that it falls after the anticipated release of the Fall 2024 CA School Dashboard (on 12/1).
